The Strikeforce Update (as of 11 Dec): MTT and Potluck Christmas Gathering on 14 Dec '08 Sunday
Dear Strikeforce,
We'll be continuing our MTT practices this week. MTT will be ON this Sun 14 Dec, and we'll be having it as usual from 4-6pm at Riverwalk!
The attendance for MTT has been dwindling the last few months, as more and more people have been missing from MTT. It's understandable to take leave from MTT once in a while to attend to urgent or important matters (e.g. emergencies, exams, urgent work, family issues, etc), but totally unacceptable to take MTT for granted and just turn up as and when you feel like it. (Would you do so for service or cg?) Let's not forget that ultimately Strikeforce is still part of ministry, and we all gave our commitment to Boon to serve and to train every week when he first took us into Strikeforce. This basic requirement has never changed.
Boon shared during last week's MTT that Strikeforce is now much sought after by everyone and we are going to higher places. In fact, he has a vision for Strikeforce to put up a musical in 1-2 years time. Yet how will that be possible if we don't avail ourselves to train and be trained? It all starts from being committed and contributing to MTT. So... come for MTT this Sun!
With that aside, let's go to another important announcement:
After the MTT this Sun, we'll be having a Potluck Christmas Gathering at Boon's mum's place (Park Infinia Condo) at 7pm. It's at Lincoln Road (near Newton MRT), so we can all go together to the place after MTT. Please look out for more details from your Contact Heads.
